- Glass Blocks
Glass blocks offer a unique construction material
to produce outstanding visual effects with light and
colour. Numerous and stunningly attractive effects
can be achieved with the range of different patterns,
colours and sizes available. Their appearance is further
enhanced by either natural or artificial light and
even more creative scope is provided by the use of
coloured mortar and by painting the glass block edges.
The blocks are manufactured from two hollow
moulded glass sections fused together to form hollow,
transparent or translucent hermetically sealed block.
The cavity gives the blocks an excellent degree of
heat and sound insulation and walls or panels constructed
from them provide privacy whilst transmitting a high
percentage of the available light.
